'All I wanted to do was snuggle': Sweet velcro dog gives his owner the cold-shoulder after surgery, then their loving hooman seeks comforting advice online
Dogs have big personalities, especially if they're small in stature. Known for their stinky gas, loud snoring, and big attitudes, Boston terriers are the type of dog that owners obsess over. In response, these dogs cling to their owners, becoming little black and white shadows running around the house to spend time with their favorite hooman—at least, until you do them dirty.
This dog pawrent was astounded by the mood change of her precious Boston terrier after a harrowing eye surgery. After months of battling glaucoma, the pup graciously let his hooman take him to the vet for removal, but not without letting her know his frustrations in the process. This little grouchy guy used to be a velcro dog, snuggling and being adorable all the time, until the fateful day he came home from the vet with an eye wrap and a throbbing headache. Who else could he blame but his hooman mom, the woman who stole all his toys (doctor's orders!) and made him uncomfy.
How could you! Luckily, we all know this sassy little sprout will come around, but it's nice to be reminded by strangers online every now and then.
